"Father Calloway has written a book on the rosary whose profundity and scholarshipis unquestionable. Champions of the Rosary not only offers a clear presentation ofthe history of the rosary, but also a clarion call for everyone to enlist as a soldier inthe army of the Queen of the Rosary. We are in a new and most dangerous spiritualbattle, making the Lepanto of old appear elementary. To fight the Lepanto of ourtimes, we need to once again be reminded that the rosary is a spiritual weapon.Only then will we be able to conquer and banish the culture of death, the modernattacks against the Church and her teachings, and the diabolical agents who raisetheir weapons against Christ and his Cross. This book has been put into our handsso that we might understand the spiritual power of the sword of Mary. All that is leftfor us is to wield it!"  - Most Rev. Ayo-Maria Atoyebi, OP, DD. Bishop of Ilorin, Nigeria

"In this magnum opus, Fr. Calloway joins the ranks of the great preachers and promoters of the Psalter of the Blessed Virgin, the rosary. He stands with the giants, especially Alan de la Roche and Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort, in this beautiful, historical, and spiritual treatise. Champions of the Rosary is probably the greatest bookwritten on the rosary in centuries. This book is worthy of every Dominican Libraryand is a tool which reminds the Dominican Family of its marvelous heritage and thetreasure of the rosary entrusted to our father Dominic. The Order of Preachers is indebt to Fr. Calloway, and I encourage all Rosarians of the Rosary Confraternity, aswell as all the faithful, to drink deeply of this work, for it breathes forth the truth ofChrist Jesus contemplated through the eyes of Mary."  -Very Rev. This is a wonderful book - giving the origin and history of the rosary. It is full of amazing stories detailing miracles brought about by the recitation of the holy rosary ( eg. Battle of Lepanto).
