Author Bio: Richard Eason has been a permanent deacon in the Archdiocese of New Orleans since 2012 and is assigned to Good Shepherd Parish. He participates in several Catholic apostolates, including being on the board of directors of the Ozanam Inn homeless shelter and volunteering at St. Jude Nursing Home in New Orleans, and he serves in the community as a member of theForeKids! Foundation. He is also a frequent speaker on Spiritual Excellence (as a series and study group) in Catholic parishes and prayer groups.Deacon Richard graduated with honors from Tulane University with a degree in economics and from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law. He practices as a civil litigator with the regional law firm of Adams and Reese, LLC.
